Christ Lutheran Church is currently seeking
a full time pastor. Pr Paul Myers will be retiring int he summer
of 2007. This is a congregation made up primarily of retired or
semi-retired members, although there are many younger families in
attendance. They are worshipping around 130 members a weekend.
Duties would include
teaching an adult Bible Study class; conducting Sunday morning worship
as well as various services for special times of the year, such as
Christmas and Lent; officiating at baptisms, weddings, and funerals;
leading confirmation classes; offering guidance to already established
small groups such as prayer and Bible study groups.
We seeks a new pastor who is
sincere, organized, compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable. A
pastor who is aware of the needs and concerns of our congregation and
will work to bring new growth, which will include young people and
children, the future of our Church. A pastor who will have input
at Council meetings but not control, and also a pastor who will delegate
work as our congregation is filled with people who want to help in the
