Disaster Relief Effort Opportunities Now Posted
Looking for ways to help out someone in need this summer?
Three new opportunities have been added to our website for those who would like to help provide emergency relief assistance to those whose lives have been affected by recent catastrophic disasters.
Oklahoma City Area
The Lutheran Disaster Assistance Fund, organized by those at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, an LCMC congregation in Marion, IA, provides emergency assistance to help support the needs of victims of catastrophic natural disasters including tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, ice storms, wildfires, flooding caused by excessive rains, and similar natural disasters. Relief efforts are currently being coordinated to help support those affected by the the April 17 explosion at the West Fertilizer Co. in West, Texas. For further information, click here.East Coast
