LCMC Announces Intentional Interim Ministry Training for 2018
LCMC is hosting our second training class for those who feel called into intentional interim ministry.
Those of us serving on the LCMC staff believe those serving in this capacity need training. Some of the best training is through the Interim Ministry Network (IMN) or the National Association of Lutheran Interim Pastors (NALIP). These courses require significant time and money, so we are providing a lower cost alternative, even while continuing to suggest pastors consider the more thorough training.
Our LCMC Intentional Interim Ministry Training will be taught by Pastors Steve Lien and Steve Abend, who have completed training with IMN and NALIP respectively.
The event takes place from Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. through Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Principal Financial Group Conference Rooms A & B of the Grand View University Student Center (located at 2811 East 14th Street, Des Moines, IA 50316).
The cost to attend is $150.00 for the course, which must be paid in full to hold your place, plus housing and transportation. Housing is available for a very reasonable rate at Grand View University. MORE INFO >>
Registration details and a list of pre-reading books required before class will be provided by contacting Cathy Nichol, Administrative Coordinator, at cathy@lcmc.net or (734) 788-7476.
