LCMC to Host Church Council Workshops
New for 2013, LCMC will be hosting a series of Church Council Workshops at LCMC congregations throughout the year.
Workshops will be led by Rev. Mark Vander Tuig, the Service Coordinator of LCMC, and focus on gathering church council members, leaders, and pastors to center our ministries on the Great Commission of Matthew 28.

LCMC is an association of congregations. We have a great respect for the reality that the church is where the people of God gather together around Word and Sacrament. The local congregation is where the church becomes a concrete reality for God's people.

Looking forward to a Council Workshop in the Ssouth Carolina area. Saw your presntation via internet during the Gathering this year. My Pastor Mark Schimmel attended and we both, and our Advisory board, are very excited about attending one.
