LCMC Youth Event Registration Closes April 1
This Friday, April 1 is the last day to register for Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ's upcoming summer 2022 youth event, The Way • The Truth • The Life.
The purpose of our national youth event is to serve as a leadership development experience for both students and student leaders. Everything at this youth event is designed to empower youth ministry in the local church and encourage students to consider the vocation of ministry in the future.
Speakers for this year's event include LCMC pastors Brandon Foster (Trinity Lutheran Church, Columbus, NE), Andrea Paulson (Hawley Lutheran Church, Hawley, MN), and Chip Reynolds (First English Lutheran Church, Victoria, TX). Noah Ruppert (Morningside Lutheran Church, Sioux City, IA) will serve as our worship leader.
The event is open to students completing grades 7-12, youth leaders, and adult chaperones and takes place July 19-22 at Grand View University in Des Moines, IA.

Kristy Thomas is a nerd with an affinity for 90s music, collecting antiques, and creating her own Halloween decorations. When she needs to unwind (which is pretty much all of the time), she likes arts & crafts, hiking and camping with her dogs, and playing the ukulele. As Communications & Public Relations Specialist, she is responsible for keeping the people of LCMC informed of what’s going on within the association and for tackling all of the creative-type projects. For the future, she would like to see the congregations of LCMC be proactive in raising up future leaders and for the “20-30 somethings” to be able to make some cool things happen, both within The Church and throughout the world.
