Meal Packaging Project Update
Preparations for this fall's meal packaging project are underway, and we are making progress in raising the $80,000 needed for the supplies we will use to package 400,000 meals together at our Annual Gathering in October.As of January, we have collectively raised $8,940.67 to be used for obtaining food, packaging materials and postage for the project.

We have also created a Facebook event page, titled "Two Hours. 1,000 People. 400,000 Meals.", to help make it easier for social media users to stay updated on the project and to share the event details with others.
Project Update: As of 2/28/2014 we have raised $12,086.

Kristy Thomas is a nerd with an affinity for 90s music, collecting antiques, and creating her own Halloween decorations. When she needs to unwind (which is pretty much all of the time), she likes arts & crafts, hiking and camping with her dogs, and playing the ukulele. As Communications & Public Relations Specialist, she is responsible for keeping the people of LCMC informed of what’s going on within the association and for tackling all of the creative-type projects. For the future, she would like to see the congregations of LCMC be proactive in raising up future leaders and for the “20-30 somethings” to be able to make some cool things happen, both within The Church and throughout the world.
