Our 14th Annual Gathering Has Officially Begun!
Reason for Hope, LCMC's 14th Annual Gathering, begins today at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
Over 1,000 LCMC-ers from around the globe will come together this week for a chance to connect with one another and to explore 1 Peter 3:15 as it relates to our culture today. The event also features two worship services, live music, morning Bible studies, breakout sessions and vendors.
Our official hashtag for this year is #LCMC14. Attendees are also invited to tweet their favorite photos from the event to @lcmcupdates.
For those who are unable to attend the gathering this year, we are once again streaming the event live at www.lcmc.net/live beginning with Opening Worship tonight at 7:00 P.M.
Videos from each of our speakers this year will be available in our Video & Media blog this winter. Our staff will announce once they've been posted via E-Newsletter, Facebook and Twitter pages.

Kristy Thomas is a nerd with an affinity for 90s music, collecting antiques, and creating her own Halloween decorations. When she needs to unwind (which is pretty much all of the time), she likes arts & crafts, hiking and camping with her dogs, and playing the ukulele. As Communications & Public Relations Specialist, she is responsible for keeping the people of LCMC informed of what’s going on within the association and for tackling all of the creative-type projects. For the future, she would like to see the congregations of LCMC be proactive in raising up future leaders and for the “20-30 somethings” to be able to make some cool things happen, both within The Church and throughout the world.
