Register Now for Our 2020 Youth Event!
Registration is now open for our next high school youth event, Called 2: Love, which will be held July 21-24, 2020 at Grand View University in Des Moines, IA.
The event features worship, music, service projects, breakout sessions, and teachings on love, leadership, and what it takes to pursue a role in ministry.
Participants will also have a chance to connect with other high school students and youth leaders in LCMC through mixers and activities, plus enjoy an ice cream social, games, and inflatables outside on the green.
The event is designed for high school students completing grades 8-12, youth leaders, and adult chaperones.
Registration fees are $325 per person and are all-inclusive, so all you have to do is get there.
A $50 deposit for each registrant is due at the time of registration to secure your spot, and the deadline to sign up is April 1, 2020.

Kristy Thomas is a nerd with an affinity for 90s music, collecting antiques, and creating her own Halloween decorations. When she needs to unwind (which is pretty much all of the time), she likes arts & crafts, hiking and camping with her dogs, and playing the ukulele. As Communications & Public Relations Specialist, she is responsible for keeping the people of LCMC informed of what’s going on within the association and for tackling all of the creative-type projects. For the future, she would like to see the congregations of LCMC be proactive in raising up future leaders and for the “20-30 somethings” to be able to make some cool things happen, both within The Church and throughout the world.
