Meals from the Heartland Service Project Update

At their last meeting, the LCMC Board of Trustees decided to cancel the meal packaging event scheduled for the Tuesday night of our upcoming Annual Gathering and Convention in Des Moines.  To date, we have only received just over $11,000 of our $80,000 fundraising goal for this project. Our 2018 Service Project And How You Can Help

Lutheran World Relief Service Project Update

At our 2016 Annual Gathering in Denver, Colorado, we partnered with Lutheran World Relief to assemble 8,228 personal care kits for people in need.  The staff of LCMC has received an update from Lutheran World Relief that the kits we packaged have been shipped to Angola on March 28, 2017 and should be arriving within the next four months.  Lutheran World Relief will be working with Hope for Angola to ensure that the ...
