As Director of Operations for LCMC, Sharon MacFadyen is responsible for the day to day operations of the association. Together with Cathy Nichol and Kristy Thomas, she manages all the accounts payable/receivable functions, payroll, pension (403b) administration, event planning and data collection and maintenance.
After studying accounting, Sharon spent a couple years working in the medical industry, primarily as a medical biller before taking her career to banking. She spent 20 years in mortgage banking, concentrating in the closing department as a post-closing auditor. She joined LCMC in 2003 after sensing a need to change direction and feeling a call to aid the fledgling association as its second employee.
Sharon has been married to her husband, Tim, for 22 years. They have 5 adult children and two grandsons. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys traveling, gardening and quilting.
