LCMC Congregational Planting Grant

LCMC desires to see new, Great Commission focused congregations planted in cities, suburbs, and rural communities. Our goal is to assist planting teams with funding, training, and coaching. Beginning in 2024, LCMC will launch a fund available to a church planting teams.  We believe that funding these new congregations will help LCMC hold true to our distinctives of being free in Christ, accountable to one another, committed to the scriptures and Lutheran Confessions, and focused on the Great Commission.  The grant program is open to launching congregations in their first five years of existence. 

All completed applications received by the deadline date listed below will be reviewed by the grant team. Upon approval, a check or deposit will be issued to the church for the grant amount. Grant recipients will be announced at the LCMC Annual Gathering & Convention.

How to Apply:

1. Download and review the grant information and guidelines document to see if you are eligible for a grant. 
2. Download and complete the application form available on our website.  Additional pages or documents may be included, however they must be attached to the same email as your application form. 
3. Send completed application packets to churchplanting@lcmc.net.  All applications must be received by August 31.
