Description: Faith Lutheran Church is seeking a joyful shepherd to provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to our church family, so that it might fulfill the mission and purpose as the body of Christ. A pastor who has a wholehearted love of Jesus Christ and a passion for God’s Word.
Faith Lutheran Church is located in Seguin, TX, Guadalupe County. Seguin has a population of approximately 30,000 residents and is centrally located 35 miles east of San Antonio and 50 miles south of Austin.
We are an active congregation who contributes our time, talents, and treasure regularly to numerous community organizations and charities worldwide.
Our worship services have a blended style of traditional and contemporary.
We have Sunday School classes for adults and children along with a vibrant and growing youth and young adult ministry.
We have a full-time office staff (office manager, youth and family ministry, communications and music director, preschool director) and part-time staff for children’s ministry and a financial assistant.
We are praying for a pastor who:
- Is committed to the inerrancy and authority of the Bible
- Is a committed follower of Christ in all aspects of life who engages in daily prayer, scripture and seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance
- Is relational, approachable and loves people
- Will prepare biblically based sermons to inspire and challenge the congregation
- Has a heart for the lost and will make efforts to reach the unreached in our community
- Fulfills the qualifications outlined in 1Timothy 3:1-7
