Description: Christ Lutheran Church in Reese, Michigan continues to search for their next spiritual leader. If you are sensing the movement of the Holy Spirit that your work in your current congregation is ending, then we invite you to consider Christ Lutheran. We are looking for a pastor who can maintain and strengthen our traditional worship service, congregational ministries, work within a multigenerational congregation as well as the following:
- Have a spiritual heart and skills for the development and administration of a Sunday morning live contemporary worship service. Currently, we have started a contemporary service and have seen some growth. We are searching for more instrumentation and voices that will soon make up our first worship team.
- Preach and teach the Word of God.
- Provide pastoral care and leadership in coordination with the Church Council.
- Develop and train lay people of the congregation to assist, but not replace, ministry to the sick and shut-ins.
- Develop, train, and strengthen youth leaders for youth ministries.
