St. Peter's Lutheran Church, located in Creston, Nebraska, began in 1909. Our church's mission is to have Jesus Christ as the center focus of our lives and to become servants of God by serving each other, our church, and our community. We hope to find a certified full-time pastor, someone who likes a challenge, is energetic, and willing to help us grow.
The original church building was dedicated in 1917 and has seen many updates, including central heat and a/c. Our facility features a fellowship hall, kitchen, school rooms, and office. The congregation currently has 100 members and our average Sunday attendance is 15.
Creston, Nebraska has a population of around 200 and is known as a friendly, caring village, full of young families with children. We are located in a rural agricultural community in northeastern Nebraska, within short driving distance of two larger cities.
Individuals who are interested in leading our small, yet faithful congregation should submit their resume to Kim Hoesly via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Phone calls can also be made in the evenings to Glen Hake (402-920-3402), David Muhle (402-487-2709) or Kim Hoesly (402-276-3311).
