Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Dornsife, Pennsylvania is prayerfully searching for a pastor to lead our congregation following the retirement of our faithful pastor of forty-six years. The church mission statement is, "Emmanuel Lutheran Church serves the Lord through witnessing, teaching, spreading the Word, giving support spiritually, financially, and motivationally to all of God's people." ELC is located in a small rural community with a preference for a traditional service. Worship is at ten o'clock every Sunday, with an adult Sunday school on the first and third Sunday, nine months out of the year. The pastor leads the church in communion once a month. There are usually two or three young adults for 1st and 2nd year Confirmation class each year. Attendance ranges from 20-40 people with more during the holidays. The church constitution was updated in 2012, when we joined LCMC. A copy of the ELC constitution is available upon request.
