Relief Efforts for Hurricane Sandy Victims in the U.S.

Yesterday, the New York Times reported a total of at least 164 lives claimed by Hurricane Sandy, with at least 94 of them reported in the U.S. and Canada and 54 in Haiti.
The storm also led to power outages, gas shortages and up to $50 billion in damages in the U.S., according to The Huffington Post
As Volunteer Reception Centers are now opening on the East Coast, and congregations are collecting funds to be distributed within their local communities, there are several ways that those who are interested can help with relief efforts for victims of this natural disaster.
